Sodium-ion energy storage

Unlocking industrial independence

Navion Energy builds sodium-ion energy storage — from our own next-gen NFPP cathode to cells, modules and complete battery systems — for industries and mission-critical sites from the Arctic Circle to the open desert.

Applications

Storage demand is surging.

We’re built for where it’s hardest to serve.

Defense & critical infrastructure

Secure power, free of lithium, cobalt and nickel.

Remote & inclement sites

Replacing diesel in harsh climates where lithium-ion struggles.

Grid & utilities

Firming renewables, sited closer to communities.

AI data centers

Non-flammable backup power that can go indoors.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing innovation, built for scale.

Our next-gen NFPP cathode is made with a proprietary process, developed in-house, that removes steps standard cathode lines depend on.

Pure-phase NFPP

Cost figures compared with standard cathode (CAM) production lines, based on Navion techno-economic and pilot-line estimates. Phase purity achieved across Navion pilot batches.

Key advantages

Proprietary process

Developed in-house; a different route from standard cathode lines.

One firing step, not two

A single-stage firing, with about 70% less time in the furnace.

Proven industrial equipment

Built on standard, commercially available equipment, so scale-up is faster and lower-risk.

Consistent quality

Fine, uniform particles, batch after batch.

From powder to power

Cathode, cell, module and system are engineered together, so improvements in the material carry straight through to the product.
